Following unanimous votes in the Senate and House, Governor Hogan approved HB1054/SB0989, a law that forbids Maintenance of Certification (MOC) as a requirement for licensure in Maryland.  It also prohibits any requirement for board certification.  The law, which Governor Hogan signed on May 4, becomes effective October 1, 2017.
