Over the last several years, Medicaid enrollment has increased to over 1.8 million Marylanders. MPS, MedChi and other physician organizations have fought for Medicaid E&M rates to match Medicare rates. Ensuring that payments are funded at current levels will assist in recruiting and retaining physicians and other practitioners to maintain access to care.  However, the state budget proposes cuts to E&M payments.  Click to contact your legislators to protect Medicaid payments from these cuts.
