Maryland healthcare provider groups, including MPS, are making a concerted effort to pass meaningful prior authorization  reform.  The groups are meeting with representatives of PBMs and health insurers in an attempt to come up with legislation that can pass.  To support the effort, MedChi, the Maryland State Medical Society established a website where doctors and patients can post examples of denials of coverage for medications.

Please use this site and share it generally, including patients who have been harmed by prior auth.   MedChi plans to compile a list to share with legislators in our push to pass a bill.  Here is the link:
