Health Insurance Study

The Maryland Insurance Administration, in conjunction with the University of Baltimore, is conducting a study to explore why some individuals in Maryland don’t buy health insurance and why some other individuals who have health insurance don’t use their benefits.  Focus groups with Marylanders in different locations across the state will also be part of the study, which is fully funded (100%) by a grant from the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services.
