Maryland Disability Determination Services (DDS) is a State agency within the Division of Rehabilitation Services under the Maryland State Department of Education. The Social Security Administration (SSA), contracts with State agencies to administer the disability portion of their program. Using SSA regulations, our agency adjudicates Social Security Disability Insurance and Supplemental Security Income claims.
