Interstate Medical Licensure Now Available for Maryland Physicians

Effective July 1, 2019, the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) offers an expedited pathway to licensure for Maryland physicians who want to practice in multiple Compact states.  The IMLC mission is to increase access to health care for patients in underserved or rural areas and allow them to more easily connect with medical experts using telemedicine.  Maryland is the 25th State/Territory to join the Compact.  Click here for more details on this site.

For a complete list of participating states, minimum applicant qualifications, and information on how to apply for licensure through the IMLC, please visit www.imlcc.org.  All Compact, initial, renewal, reinstatement and Letter of Qualification (LOQ) fees are the responsibility of the applicant. All fees are paid directly to the IMLC.  Please direct inquiries to the Compact by telephone calls to (720) 621-9464 or email to inquiry@imlcc.net.
