Insurance Company Mergers & Network Adequacy

Letters were sent on behalf of the American Psychiatric Association’s Department of Government Affairs and the Maryland Psychiatric Society to Maryland Attorney General Brian Frosh and Maryland Insurance Commissioner Al Redmer raising  concerns regarding proposed major insurance company mergers and network adequacy.  The APA and MPS will meet with the Attorney General’s office and the Insurance Commission to discuss these issues.
