On Saturday, June 6, the Center for a Healthy Maryland will co-sponsor a training in SBIRT (Screening, Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment) entitled “Reducing Unhealthy Alcohol and Drug Use among Patients at Office-Based Physician Practices.” The free, 3 CME credit training by Christopher Welsh, M.D. and Carlo DiClemente, Ph.D. will be held at MedChi from 8:30 am to 12:00 p.m. This activity will meet the mandatory requirement in opioid prescribing and management of the Maryland Board of Physicians for licensure.
