Objectives: 

At the conclusion of the activity participants will be able to:

• Understand the current evidence base for assisted outpatient treatment (AOT)
• Understand the state of Maryland’s implementation approach for AOT implementation, including the value of diverse stakeholder engagemen
• Understand early successes and challenges of Maryland’s AOT implementation
• Review the mechanism of action and current landscape of GLP-1s within the broader medical and psychiatric field
• Review current evidence for use of GLP-1s in eating disorders and discuss gaps in the literature
• Discuss assessing and mitigating risks for vulnerable populations who may be taking GLP-1s
• Define and discuss treatment resistant OCD
• Review the steps in medical management of treatment resistant patients
• Discuss the role of glutamatergic agents and the relevant research
