The Maryland Board of Physicians posted a notice implementing the new law effective April 1, 2022 that requires all renewing licensees to complete an implicit bias training program approved by the Cultural and Linguistic Health Care Professional Competency Program. Licensees whose last name be-gins with A-L and expires 9/30/2022 must complete one course of the program as a condition of license renewal. Those whose last name begins with M-Z and expires 9/30/2023 have another year to complete the course. Click here for a list of approved training program courses.
