The Continuing Board Certification: Vision for the Future Commission (Commission) has posted a draft report for public comment.  The draft outlines a vision for maintenance of certification (MOC) programs that is intended to be responsive to needs of users and relevant to physicians.  In drafting the report, the Commission considered stakeholder input from over 20 hours of testimony as well as results of a survey posted on its website.  The “Call for Comment” will close on January 15, after which there will be a meeting to review and discuss the comments and make revisions before the final report is submitted to the Board of Directors of the American Board of Medical Specialties in February 2019.
