The MPS Legislative Committee invites all MPS and Suburban Maryland Psychiatric Society members to participate in the annual Advocacy Days in Annapolis. We will meet with state delegates and senators on Wednesday February 8th and Thursday February 9th to provide information and resources about the clinical implications of proposed bills and the impact of legislation on the practice of psychiatry. Face-to-face contact is the most effective form of political action and past meetings have been positive.  No experience is required!  Spend as little as half of one day and as much as both whole days.  Please email mps@mdpsych.org if you are interested.  Hope to see you there!
