The APA’s Steering Committee on Practice Guidelines invites review and comment on the following draft guideline on the use of antipsychotics to treat agitation and psychosis in patients with dementia.  The guideline includes clearly described recommendations, which are separately rated according to strength of supporting evidence and strength of recommendation.
