SUMMARY:MPS Annual Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The Maryland Psychiatric Society (MPS) is excited to announce the return of our in person Annual Meeting! The MPS will hold the 2023 Annual Dinner on Thursday April 20th at Fogo de Chão in Baltimore. Join us as we celebrate the achievements made over the past year\, and to turn over the gavel over to Carol Vidal\, M.D.\, incoming MPS President. Theodora Balis\, M.D. will become the MPS President-Elect and Ronald Means\, M.D. will become treasurer. \nWinners of our Best Paper Contest and our new Resident/Fellow Poster Competition will be announced.  \nThe 2023 MPS Lifetime of Service Award winner\, Steven R. Daviss\, MD will be honored. \nThe 2023 Maryland Foundation for Psychiatry Anti-Stigma Advocacy prize will be awarded. \nWe’ll also recognize new Life Members\, Fellows\, Distinguished Fellows and more! \n Valet parking is available for a reduced rate. Dinner to include large salad bar offering fresh seasonal salads\, exotic vegetables\, imported cheeses\, smoked salmon\, cured meats\, seasonal soup\, continuous tableside service of signature cuts of fire-roasted meats\, Brazilian side dishes and more.
