SUMMARY:Service Members and Veterans: Chronic Pain\, Its Treatment\, and Consequences in Active Duty Military and Veterans
DESCRIPTION:This one day activity will provide attendees an opportunity to review chronic pain issues\, treatment methods and the consequences in active duty military and veterans. Leaders from Veterans Health Administration\, Department of Defense and Johns Hopkins will provide lectures and discussions to improve the care of service members and veterans with chronic pain. \n  \nAccreditation Statement\nThis activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and VA Maryland Health Care System. The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians. \nCredit Designation Statement\nThe Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine designates this live activity for amaximum of 6.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
