Psychiatrists Needed to Serve on Medical Board – The Maryland State Retirement Agency (MSRA) conducts weekly Medical Board meetings to determine whether a member is mentally or physically incapacitated from performing his or her job duties and that the incapacitation is likely to be permanent.  The Medical Board reviews medical documentation only and does not meet with the claimant. Doctors serving on our Medical Board generally meet one time per month for three hours and receive a payment of $525 per meeting.  The current boards meet either Wednesday or Thursday from 1:30 – 4:30 pm.   The location is 120 E.
